ESPORTS program starts Monday
There’s still time to register for the free National City ESPORTS Youth Program. The new season starts Monday and runs from 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays through June 4 for National City residents ages 8 to 17. ESPORTS is held at Casa de Salud, 1408 Harding Ave., and will focus on preparing youth for Smash Bros tournaments. In addition, coaches will help in other games like Fortnite and Call of Duty Warzone. Physical activity, STEAM lessons and snacks are included. Free mariachi concert at Chula Vista library
Classics 4 Kids is hosting a free family concert series at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chula Vista Library Civic Center branch, 365 F St. Música de Mariachi will perform a program in Spanish and English. Participants will learn how mariachi instruments make their sounds. Call (619) 6915069.
Community Town Hall meeting in Bonita

Final week for student exhibit in Bonita
This is the final week for the exhibition of student art at the Bonita Museum and Historical Society. The exhibit, which ends Saturday, showcases art by local students, including from Bonita Vista High School, Hightech high Chula Vista, Eastlake Middle School and more.
Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays at 4355 Bonita Road. Call (619) 267-5141.
Top shopper contest at Terra Nova Plaza
Terra Nova Plaza in Chula Vista invites residents age 18-plus to compete for the Chula Vista Best Shopper title and prize money.
Five finalists, selected from essays written on “Why I’m Chula Vista’s Best Shopper,” will each win $500 to spend in the contest shopping finals from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11 at Terra Nova Plaza, 394 East H St.
Contest judges will review the finalists’ purchases to select Chula Vista’s Best Shopper, who will win $1,000 in gift cards from Terra Nova Plaza merchants.
