TEMECULA

The Temecula City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is March 14. City Council meetings are televised live on Time Warner Channel 3 and Frontier FIOS TV Channel 3 and rebroadcas­t on the following Tuesday. They can also be streamed live on Temecula TV; go to temeculaca.gov/tv. Public comments may be submitted via email to the city clerk, councilcom­ments@temeculaca.gov.

HEMET

The Hemet City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is March 14. The Lake Elsinore City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is March 14. The Murrieta City Council meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The next meeting is March 21. March 12 LAKE ELSINORE Mornings on Main

The city of Lake Elsinore and Made Local Market hold their weekly Mornings on Main Farmers Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays at City Park, 184 Main St. Shop for locally sourced produce and handmade treasures at the farmers market, and stroll down Historic Downtown Main Street to take in the antique shops, novelty stores, museum and fine dining. March 13 MURRIETA Dog Tales

The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnershi­p with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading-education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. The library is at 8 Town Square.

March 14 TEMECULA Farmers market

March 14 WILDOMAR Coffee talks

The monthly Wildomar Coffee with the City series returns at 8:30 a.m. March 14. Held the second Tuesday of the month, the free events hosted by the city and the Murrieta/wildomar Chamber of Commerce provide an opportunit­y for residents to connect with city officials. March 15 TEMECULA Evening Mixer

The San Diego Blood Bank is holding blood drives hosted by local businesses in Southwest Riverside County. Donors must be 17 or older, weigh at least 114 pounds and be in good health. March 25 MENIFEE Multicultu­ral Festival

The family friendly event will showcase cultural diversity through live music, dance performanc­es, children’s activities, and food and retail vendors.

Ongoing VALLEYWIDE Blood donations

Donations of blood and plasma are needed for patients throughout the region. Lifestream hosts mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collection­s at its regular locations.
