VA TRANSACTIONS COURSE OFFERED THROUGH SDAR
Take a deep dive to understand and master common transactional issues involving VA loans in a live classroom “lunch and learn” on Tuesday, March 21.
Prepare and navigate a VA loan escrow while avoiding pitfalls and minimizing delays. The end goal is to offer military buyers and sellers experience so that they enthusiastically refer friends and family.
The Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR) is hosting Maxvaloan at its Kearny Mesa headquarters from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

SDAR CELEBRATES CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE IN REAL ESTATE

The Circle of Excellence, celebrating outstanding Realtors and brokerage teams, is a prestigious honor presented by the Greater San Diego Association of Realtors (SDAR) and San Diego Multiple Listing Service (SDMLS).
For the Recognition of Excellence category, teams and individuals are being recognized at the Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze levels of achievement based on numbers of units sold and/or sale volume during 2022.
The Awards of Excellence celebrate real estate professionals who exemplify excellence among their peers in the categories of Broker, Realtor, Office Manager, Rookie, as well as honors for International and Commercial real estate and top agents in the “40 Under 40” age group.

ROSAMARIA ACUÑA CELEBRATES 35 YEARS IN REAL ESTATE
Rosamaria Acuña, a top-producing REALTOR® in the La Jolla office of Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices California Properties and recognized community leader, recently completed her 35th year in the real estate business. Known for her extensive local-market knowledge, selfless spirit and dedication to advocating for her clients throughout San Diego County, Rosamaria commemorated the career milestone by reflecting on where she’s been – and where she wants to go.

PSAR HOSTS VA APPRAISAL UPDATE
The Pacific Southwest Association of Realtors (PSAR) will host the San Diego chapter of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals’ (VAREP) “Lunch-and-learn” monthly meeting starting at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 14, at the PSAR Central San Diego Service Center, second floor meeting room, 4340 Genesee Ave., in San Diego’s Clairemont community. Jeff Heaslet, chief appraiser with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, will speak over a live video stream from Washington, D.C. He is expected to discuss updates to the VA appraisal process, options for reconsideration of value and the VA Tidewater initiative, along with questions-and-answers. Cost to attend is free.
