TASTE OF SAN DIEGO — EAST SET FOR JUNE 26

East County foodies are invited to get their tickets early for the 14th annual “Taste of San Diego — East,” sponsored by the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce. The sell-out event featuring East County eateries and their specialties will take place June 26 at the Town and Country Hotel, 500 Hotel Circle North, San Diego.

Representatives from East County restaurants, caterers and other food providers will be in the hotel’s Pacific Ballroom.

Here’s a taste of those participating: Bella Bello by Shamrock Foods, Brew Coffee Spot, Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar, Dream Dinners, Duke’s Old Fashioned Onion Burgers, Edible Arrangements, Gordito Tamalito, Hooleys Public House, Lantern Crest Senior Living, Little Roma, Los Pinos Taco Shop, Marie Callender’s, Mendocino Farms, Pick Up Stix, Pioneer BBQ, Shamrock Foods, Steele 94 Restaurant Bar, and The

Maharani’s Mithai.

The evening (for ages 21 and older) also offers free prizes from business sponsors/vendors, a silent auction and raffles. Ticket pricing does not include beverages, but a no-host bar will be available.

The presenting sponsor is EDCO. Tickets include free parking and unlimited visits to all food vendors: VIP tasting, $60 for three hours of tasting from 5 to 8 p.m.; general admission, $40 for two hours of tasting from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets will not be sold at the door; they are available at lamesachamber.com.
