From wooden boats to model trains, you’ll find lots of fun activities this week in San Diego. ‘Eleanor’ at North Coast Rep

The West Coast premiere of “Eleanor” is on stage through July 9 at North Coast Repertory Theatre in Solana Beach.

Starring award-winning actor Kandis Chappell, this compelling drama deftly illuminate­s the witty, feisty and vulnerable First Lady who was considered the heart of Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s presidency.

Wooden Boat Festival

Today is the last day to catch San Diego’s 32nd Annual Wooden Boat Festival, a Father’s Day tradition, at 2302 Shelter Island Drive.

From 9 a.m.-4 p.m., enjoy the quality craftsmans­hip of these vintage vessels, along with live music and activities for the kids.

Oasis grand opening in RB

San Diego Oasis will hold a grand opening at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 24, at its newest location, 17170 Rancho Bernardo Drive. The event will include fitness and technology demonstrat­ions, appetizers, access to classrooms and the chance to chat with instructor­s.

San Diego Oasis serves older adults throughout San Diego County with inperson and online classes including arts and crafts, legal services, health and wellness and so much more.

Del Mar Village Summer Solstice

The Del Mar Village Associatio­n is presenting its Del Mar Village Summer Solstice food and drink event from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Powerhouse Park.

Tickets range from $129-$155 and include a souvenir glass, craft cocktails, beer, wine and other beverages to pair with bites and tastes from local restaurant­s.

Model Railroad Museum and Sale

The San Diego Model Railroad Museum is holding a special sale of Marklin Ho model trains from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday.
