LOW INVENTORY

- From your local Real Estate Agent/general Contractor

The current low inventory of homes for sale is making it difficult for the buyers but it is a dream for sellers! I have often mentioned that when you are ready to sell, then sell. In other words, don’t try to time the market. BUT, in this case I am going to recommend that if you are even thinking of selling, in the slightest way, then I recommend you at least explore the possibility a little further now. The market is hot for sellers. Naturally, you might want to know how much your home is worth and you should get a comparative analysis done so you have a good idea of your home’s resale value.

Having someone like me see your home is the best way to get an accurate estimate. Next, you might look around at your home and think about what improvements, if any, should you consider doing. You could start by just cleaning and decluttering. You may consider painting or new carpet.

It may be the right time to clean the garage out, freshen up the landscaping, or rearrange the furniture. Many of these you can do yourself if you desire. Maybe a little more renovation is in order, and you need to consider hiring a contractor to update a bathroom or kitchen. In all these cases, the most important consideration is how much will any of these actions improve your home’s value? What will be your return on your time, or your money invested? THAT is a question I can answer for you. So, if you are even thinking about selling, let’s get together and evaluate the benefits of selling now, later, and what, if anything, you should do to your home. Then, you can decide.
