A LOOK AT WEEK 11

- WILFREDO LEE

Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (31) has 11 rushing touchdowns this season, most in the NFL.

TITANS (3-6) AT JAGUARS (6-3)

Today: 10 a.m

Line: Jaguars by 7

Series record: Titans lead 33-23

Outlook: Unbeaten on the road this year, Jacksonville is just 1-3 at home, while Tennessee is the league’s only winless team away from home . ... Three-time All-pro WR Deandre Hopkins already has become rookie QB Will Levis’ favorite option. Levis threw to Hopkins nine times last week, yet they only connected three times for 27 yards. That’s a big drop from Levis’ debut when he threw three TDS to Hopkins . ... Titans have at least one edge today: Jeffery Simmons and Denico Autry versus Jacksonville’s struggling offensive line. Simmons (4½) and Autry (6) have a combined 10½ sacks in nine games and should give Tennessee an edge up front against the Jaguars, who have allowed QB Trevor Lawrence to be sacked 24 times. … Two-time NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry is averaging 158.8 yards and has six rushing TDS in his past four games against Jacksonville. He grew up down the road in Yulee.

BUCCANEERS (4-5) AT 49ERS (6-3)

Today: 1:05 p.m

Line: 49ers by 111 ⁄2

Series record: 49ers lead 19-7

Outlook: QB Baker Mayfield has been a lot more efficient running the offense than many envisioned he’d be when the Bucs signed the No. 1 overall pick from the 2018 draft to compete for Tom Brady’s old job. The sixth-year pro has completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 2,143 yards, 14 touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s thrown nine TD passes vs. one INT in leading Tampa Bay to a 2-2 record on the road . ... QB Brock Purdy made his first career start against the Bucs in Week 14 last season, going 16 for 21 for 185 yards and two TDS. Purdy has only grown from there and has a 112.5 passer rating with 29 TDS and seven INTS in 17 starts in the regular season or playoffs. His game last week was perhaps his best statistically as he went 19 for 26 for 293 yards and three TDS for a career-high 148.9 passer rating against Jacksonville . ... The 49ers lead the NFL in point differential, outscoring the opposition by 12.1 points per game.

SEAHAWKS (6-3) AT RAMS (3-6)

Today: 1:25 p.m., Ch. 8

Line: Seahawks by 1

Series record: Seahawks lead 27-23

Outlook: Rams QB Matthew Stafford will return after spraining a ligament in his right thumb Oct. 29 at Dallas. Playing without him in its most recent game two weeks ago, Los Angeles had 119 yards passing in a loss in Green Bay. Stafford dominated the Seahawks in a 30-13 season-opening win, going 24 of 38 for 334 yards . ... That game with the Rams was a frustrating outing for everyone involved with the Seahawks. WR DK Metcalf took a cheap shot on Rams CB Ahkello Witherspoon, drawing a penalty. Metcalf had a season-high seven catches for 98 yards last week, including two key catches in the final minute to set up Seattle’s winning field goal . ... Rams WR Cooper Kupp and Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon missed the opener, so this will be the first time the All-pro receiver and outstanding rookie defender face off . ... K Jason Myers was the NFC special teams player of the week after going 5-for-5 on field goals last week against Washington. The Mater Dei Catholic alum has made 17 of his past 18 field-goal attempts and has at least one FG in 24 straight games.

JETS (4-5) AT BILLS (5-5)

Today: 1:25 p.m.

Line: Bills by 7

Series record: Bills lead 68-58

Outlook: The Bills fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and replaced him with QB coach Joe Brady after Monday’s shocking loss to the Broncos . ... Many New York fans wish their team would replace QB Zach Wilson, who has only one TD pass in his past five games, but the other options are Tim Boyle or Trevor Siemian. Wilson wasn’t that bad Sunday night against Las Vegas, but two holding penalties against TE C.J. Uzomah proved critical in a four-point loss. One erased a TD that would have ended New York’s end-zone drought, which has reached 36 possessions . ... Bills QB Josh Allen leads the NFL with 11 INTS and has been picked off at least once in a career-worst stretch of six consecutive games. Jets S Jordan Whitehead’s four picks are tied for third in the NFL, with three of them thrown by Allen in the season opener. He also intercepted Allen in the Jets’ 20-17 win a year ago . ... Buffalo hasn’t lost three straight since a four-game skid in 2018.

VIKINGS (6-4) AT BRONCOS (4-5)

Today: 5:20 p.m., Ch. 7/39

Line: Broncos by 2 1⁄2

Series record: Vikings lead 8-7

Outlook: Minnesota has won five straight, the last two with QB Joshua Dobbs making big plays. Tonight he faces a Broncos defense that has forced nine turnovers in the past two games, five against Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs and four against Josh Allen’s Bills . ... The Vikings are hurting elsewhere: With Alexander Mattison in the concussion protocol this week and Cam Akers out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon, Ty Chandler is on track to get the bulk of the backfield work. The second-year player from North Carolina scored his first career TD against the Saints on a direct snap . ... Denver WR Courtland Sutton has a career-high seven touchdown grabs, including two remarkable ones in each of the past two games. Next Gen stats calculated his toe-dragging touchdown at Buffalo with a completion probability of just 3.2 percent, the lowest of any catch in the NFL over the past seven seasons . ... The Broncos are seeking their first four-game winning streak since starting defense of their Super Bowl 50 title with four wins in 2016.
