Skating by the Sea: times vary, through Jan. 5 at Hotel del Coronado, 1500 Orange Ave., Coronado. Ice skate on the rink installed at the hotel’s Windsor Lawn, which is about 30 yards from the beach. Plus, the Frostbite lounge area with fire pits and comfy seating that be reserved for groups of four or six with holiday drinks and snacks.
