Danae Dyer
San Diego State Women’s Track and Field
Dyer, a sophomore from Temecula Valley High School, competes in a variety of sprints and hurdles for the Aztecs. During the 2019 season, she made the ALLMW Outdoor Track and Field Team for the 4x100m Relay. She also runs the 100m and 200m sprints as well as the 100m hurdles during the outdoor season.
Her indoor races include the 60m and 200m sprints and the 60m hurdles.
Jessica Dutton
Palomar College Women’s Track and Field
Dutton graduated from Great Oak High School and enrolled at Palomar College. Last spring, Dutton helped the Comets win their third PCAC title in the past four years. Her performance was good enough to qualify for regionals. The strongarmed javelin thrower then advanced from the prelims at regionals and finished in ninth place, missing the podium by one spot. Dutton also competed in the discus throw.
Alyssa Jackson
Palomar College Women’s Soccer
Jackson, a freshman out of Great Oak High School, played in 12 matches last fall for the Comets. In those games, which included seven key conference matchups, Jackson played midfielder and recorded one goal and two points. She took four shots for a .250 shot percentage. Jackson will look to build on her individual performance this coming autumn as the Comets look to compete for a higher spot in the conference.
Jaiden Kent
Palomar College
Softball
Kent, a freshman and alumna of Great Oak High School, has played in four games so far during her rookie season. The 5-foot-5 athlete bats right-handed and plays both the catcher and utility positions.
Kent has stepped up to bat 10 times, recording five hits. She has one double, 4 RBIS and a .500 batting average. During an 8-4 victory over Pasadena City in January, Kent made four appearances at the plate and had three hits and two RBIS.
