Saturday MURRIETA Sidewalk Overstock Sale
The Murrieta Friends of the Library will hold a Sidewalk Overstock Sale of overstock hardback and paperback books from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Friends’ Corner Store, 39455 Los Alamos Road. Books, mostly fiction, will be available for 25 cents to $1; proceeds will benefit the Murrieta Public Library, 8 Town Square.
TEMECULA State Street Ballet
The State Street Ballet company will present an adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book” at 8 p.m. Saturday at Old Town Temecula Community Theater, 42051 Main St. Tickets cost $25 for general admission, $20 seniors and military, and $15 for students. TEMECULA Old Town Tour

Monday MURRIETA Dog Tales
The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnership with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. The library is at 8 Town Square.

The Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library hosts “La Hora Del Cuento — Bilingual Storytime” Mondays, except holidays, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. The program for all ages promotes early Spanish learning by immersion in Spanish and English.
