Trump ditches allies but deals with Taliban

Re “Taliban report progress in U.S. talks” (Feb. 18): I understand that we are close to an Afghanistan “peace agreement” with the Taliban.

I guess this begs the

question, which ally of ours is the United States going to betray this time?
