STAFF CHANGE FOR USD SPRING GAME

USD will conduct its spring football game at 12:30 p.m. today with an altered coaching staff.

Offensive coordinator Christian Taylor has left to assume the same position at William & Mary. Tyler Sutton, formerly the Toreros’ special teams coordinator, has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

Taylor also coached quarterbacks. Head coach

Dale Lindsey said he’s not ready to announce who will replace Taylor as quarterbacks coach. Additionally, defensive line coach Jacques Cesaire is now a Buffalo Bills assistant.

USD has had one significant injury during spring practice. Starting offensive tackle DJ Wright suffered a broken leg. He is expected to be recovered by the time practice begins in August.
