How can Donald Trump convey his message?

“Trump sees no gain in promoting the vaccine” (July 11): This writer’s letter read, “You would think Trump would take the self-serving opportunity to speak out after taking credit for being the sole miracle worker on Operation Warp Speed.”

Shunning vaccine isn’t a political statement

I don’t understand why those anti-vaxxers who seem to adore Trump ignore the fact that Trump himself got vaccinated (as did those close to him), even though he had recently recovered from a bout with COVID-19.

That fact should be more extensively published to encourage greater vaccination participation.
