NEW FALL COCKTAILS AT GRAZE BY SAM

For an early holiday treat, head to Little Italy to try the new cocktail menu at Graze By Sam, the eclectic eatery from San Diego’s own Sam the Cooking Guy. New offerings include the Cold Snap, made with chocolate liqueur, peppermint schnapps and condensed milk; the Basic B, made with vanilla vodka, pumpkin spice and condensed milk; and the Happy Camper, a seasonal old fashioned made with Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, Four Roses whiskey and chocolate bitters. Seasonal drinks will be available through the end of the year. Graze by Sam is also introducin­g a new happy hour, where guests can get cocktails starting at $8, house wine for $7 and select beers for $6, plus some bites for $5. The happy hour is valid at the Little Italy Food Hall Bar and at the Graze bar Mondays through Fridays from 3 to 6 p.m. Graze by Sam, 555 W. Date St. in Little Italy’s Piazza della Famiglia.. Pop-Up Pie Shop in PB: The Friendly Feast will be hosting its first Pop-Up Pie Shop to get you prepped for Thanksgivi­ng. Featured chefs at the pop-up include Justin Gaspar and Juan Lopez (Hommage Bakehouse), Gianna Buzzetta (Puesto), Laura Warren (Animae), Rachel King (Kaneh Co.) and Jose Alonozo III (Nine-Ten). Pies are 9 inches and $35 each and are currently available for online preorders. The Pop-Up is Sunday at Hommage Bakehouse inside La Clochette Du Coin, 4680 Cass St., Pacific Beach. RoVino The Foodery’s Thanksgivi­ng Meal Donation and Food Collection Event: In partnershi­p with Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, RoVino the Foodery is donating Thanksgivi­ng meals to 100 local families. Food will be distribute­d to families who are preregiste­red through the church on Tuesday. In addition to the donated meals, RoVino invites the general public to donate boxed or canned foods at its East Village location; donations will be accepted until Monday. Bicoastal Collaborat­ion Filipino Dinner at Parq: For one night only, San Diego chef Phillip Esteban (White Rice) and DC chefs Paolo Dungca (Hiraya Restaurant, Pogiboy) and Tom Cunanan (Hermies, Pogiboy) will collaborat­e on a special bicoastal, six-course dinner that celebrates modern Filipino cuisine. With multiple seatings throughout the night, there’s plenty of opportunit­y to enjoy delicacies like Shrimp Toast, Cassava Cake, Tuna Kinilaw, Ginataan and more. 5 to 10 p.m. Friday .
