Ducks 3, Blues 2 (OT): Troy Terry scored his second goal of the game on a penalty shot in overtime to lift Anaheim over host St. Louis.

Scott Perunovich was called for slashing with just over a minute remaining in the extra period, giving Terry a penalty shot. He beat fifth-string goalie Jon Gillies on a backhander at 3:58 for his team-leading 17th goal of the season.

Buddy Robinson also scored for Anaheim, which ended the Blues’ seven-game home winning streak. Anthony Stolarz made 23 saves.

Nathan Walker and Oskar Sundqvist scored for St. Louis. Gillies finished with 36 saves.

Predators 1, Rangers 0: Rookie forward Philip Tomasino scored early in the second period and Juuse Saros made 32 saves for his second shutout of the season as visiting Nashville beat the New York Rangers. The Predators have won five straight, including a sweep of the three New York-area teams over a four-day stretch.

Avalanche 3, Panthers 2: Andre Burakovsky notched his first career hat trick and host Colorado beat Florida. Burakovsky got his three goals in a span of 12:05 from late in the second into the third for the Colorado’s fourth straight win. Mikko Rantanen had three assists and Darcy Kuemper stopped 31 shots for the Avalanche.

Joe Thornton and Brandon Montour scored in the third period for Florida, and Sergei Bobrovsky had 23 saves.

Golden Knights 6, Wild 4: Zach Whitecloud had two goals and Chandler Stephenson had four assists as Vegas beat visiting Minnesota.

Bruins 4, Flames 2: Brad Marchand had a goal and assist to help visiting Boston jump out to a 3-0 advantage.

Hurricanes 3, Oilers 1: Sebastian Aho scored two goals and had an assist to help Carolina beat host Edmonton.

Blue Jackets 5, Kraken 4 (OT): Jake Bean’s goal 55 seconds into overtime ended it for visiting Columbus.

Sharks 2, Stars 1: Tomas Hertl scored in his fourth straight game, James Reimer made 34 saves in his return to the lineup and host San Jose beat Dallas.

Kings 2, Wild 1: Brendan Lemieux scored in his first game back after a suspension and host Los Angeles ended Minnesota’s eight-game winning streak.

Notable

The Chicago Blackhawks placed forward Reese Johnson on injured reserve on Sunday with a broken right clavicle. Johnson, 23, got hurt during Chicago’s 5-4 loss at Toronto on Saturday night. He has one goal and three assists in 18 games this season. • Colorado captain Gabriel Landeskog will miss two weeks with a lower-body injury suffered Friday against Detroit.
