ENCINITAS, CA — On April 27, 2022, Blanca G. passed away at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas CA, due to a cardiac arrest. Blanca was born in 1955 in Quezaltepeque, La Libertad, El Salvador to Carlos Humberto Orellana and Blanca Rosa Lopez. She is survived by her husband Edgardo Hernandez Bolanos and her children Sara, Wendy, and Roberto, and four grandchildren. Also surviving is her sibling, Maria de los Angeles Orellana Orellana, and many nieces and nephews.

Despite the many illnesses that Blanca had, Blanca was always fighting to stay alive and enjoyed her time with family and friends. She loved music, social events, reading religious books, and taking photographs of places she visited and of family and friends she would frequent. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to see her grandchildren play sports in the nearby area. She made sure her grandchildren were well cared for and always advised each and every one of them. All these precious memories will be forever in our heart and minds, and we will miss her terribly.

Funeral service is scheduled for May 21, 2022 from 3pm-7pm at Groman Mortuary in Los Angeles, CA.

The following week, Blanca will be transported to San Salvador, ES, to be buried next to her late sister, Sara M. Yamagiwa de Orellana. La Auxiliadora in San Salvador will be the place of her service, followed by her ceremony at Parque Memorial La Resurrecion in San Salvador. The date of burial is TBD due to required paperwork still pending.
