CORRECTIONS

• A New York Times story C1 of Sunday’s Business section said the Federal Trade Commission has filed a complaint in U.S. District Court in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., against Legacy Cremation Services, which operates under several names. Legacy Funeral and Cremation Care in La Mesa is not affiliated with that company.

• A story on B5 in some editions May 1 about new rules in La Mesa for police equipment use incorrectly implied the City Council had given final approval to the policy. It had given initial approval. The policy received final approval May 10 in a unanimous vote. The policy will take effect 30 days after that date.
