Police investigate stabbing of man in Escondido

Escondido police were investigating a stabbing on Sunday morning that left a 24-year-old man injured in what they said was a possible domestic violence incident.

The incident was reported about 10 a.m. at an apartment on North Broadway north of Lincoln Avenue.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

No one was in custody while police investigated. No further details were immediately available.
