Motorcyclist dies after hitting pole in Escondido
ESCONDIDO
A motorcyclist died in an early morning crash in Escondido on Monday, police said.
The crash happened about 1:20 a.m. in the area of East 17th Avenue and Encino Drive, police Lt. Eric said.
The rider lost control of the motorcycle and it struck a sidewalk and a pole, Witholt said.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
