The Temecula Summer Concert

Series continues with the Eagles Ronstadt Experience on Thursday, July 7, at the Temecula Amphitheat­er, 30875 Rancho Vista Road. July 9 TEMECULA Second Saturday

The Temecula Valley Museum offers its Second Saturday cultural program Saturday, July 9, with activities exploring other cultures. The July program will examine the culture and traditions of France. July 11 MURRIETA Dog Tales

The Murrieta Public Library holds its Dog Tales program at 4:30 p.m. Mondays, except holidays. The program, in partnershi­p with Love on a Leash, provides trained reading education assistance dogs for children ages 3 to 12 to read to. Arrive early to sign up for a 10-minute slot. The library is at 8 Town Square.

The monthly Coffee with the City of Wildomar series continues at 8:30 a.m. July 12. Through Aug. 4 TEMECULA Summer lunch program

The city of Temecula’s Community Services Department is providing free lunches and enrichment activities to children and teens at its annual Summer Food Service Program at Michael “Mike” Naggar Community Park through Aug. 4. Meals are served every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon to anyone 18 or younger, or adults with disabiliti­es, on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Parent supervisio­n is required. The park is at 29119 Margarita Road.

Ongoing VALLEYWIDE Blood donations

Donations of blood and plasma are needed for patients throughout the region. LifeStream continues to host mobile blood drives at various locations as well as collection­s at its regular locations. The Murrieta donation center is at 40365 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, and is open seven days a week; hours vary. Informatio­n: www.lstream.org.
