San Diegans, are you worried about your finances? Talk to us
We are launching a new reporting focus: money. Our new coverage will translate developments in the national, state and local economy — like taxes and Federal Reserve interest rate changes — into news that is personal, local and meaningful to our readers.
We’ll also delve into San Diego problems that impact monthly budgets and long-term financial stability, from housing costs to burrito prices.
To get started, we want to hear from you:
• What are your most pressing and significant money worries? Are you concerned about a recession, debt, or day-to-day expenses?
• What new trade-offs are you making to make ends meet? Are you delaying or giving up on goals like buying a house or paying for college?
• Are you in a particularly challenging situation you’d like to tell us about?
Your answers can be about you and/or someone you know (such as relatives or populations you work with).
You can share your thoughts and experiences by sending an email to: roxana.popescu@sduniontribune.com
