Dodgers 5, Rockies 4: Will Smith and Trayce Thompson each hit a two-run homer, Julio Urias pitched seven strong innings and Los Angeles continued its torrid July with a victory at Colorado.

Mets 6, Marlins 4: Starling Marte homered, tripled and drove in three runs, Brandon Nimmo broke an eighth-inning tie with a two-run shot and visiting New York overcame two early deficits to defeat Miami.

Phillies 4, Pirates 2 (10): Rhys Hoskins drilled a go-ahead tworun homer in the top of the 10th to lift Philadelph­ia past host Pittsburgh.

Cardinals 6, Nationals 2: Nolan Gorman and Lars Nootbaar hit back-to-back homers in the sixth inning, and St. Louis beat host Washington. The Nationals’ Juan Soto went 1-for-4 in what could be his final homestand with Tuesday’s trade deadline looming.

Braves 5, Diamondbac­ks 2: Austin Riley had a homer and three RBIs, Kyle Wright earned his NL-leading 13th victory and host Atlanta beat Arizona. Riley homered in the first and drove in runs with doubles in the third and fifth. He has 11 homers, 24 RBIs and a .427 average this month.

(IL) Orioles 6, Reds 2: Cedric Mullins hit a tiebreakin­g, two-run single in a four-run ninth inning, and Baltimore beat host Cincinnati to move two games over .500 for the first time since April 2021.

THURSDAY’S LATE RESULTS

Dodgers 13, Rockies 0: Tyler Anderson and two relievers combined on a seven-hitter, and visiting Los Angeles used another quick start to rout Colorado.

Giants 4, Cubs 2: Alex Wood took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and host San Francisco beat Chicago to stop a sevengame slide.
