Ryan Nembhard drove the lane for an authoritat­ive dunk in the closing minutes and scored a career-high 25 points for No. 10 Creighton, which survived a tense second half to beat No. 9 Arkansas 90-87 on Tuesday and advance to the championsh­ip game of the Maui Invitation­al in Lahaina, Hawaii.

Trey Alexander made two free throws with 1.9 seconds left for Creighton, which will play for the title today against No. 14 Arizona.

The Bluejays (6-0) and Razorbacks (4-1) played an electrifyi­ng second half worthy of a March Madness matchup. Arkansas has reached the Elite Eight in consecutiv­e seasons and Creighton got to the second round last year after advancing to the Sweet 16 in 2021.

Ryan Kalkbrenne­r scored 21 points, Baylor Scheierman 20 and Alexander 12 for the Bluejays.

Anthony Black scored 26 points and Ricky Council IV 24 for the Razorbacks.

There were 10 lead changes and 10 ties in the second half.

Top 25 No. 13 Auburn 85, Bradley 64:

14 points and Auburn rolled in the first round of the Cancun Challenge. Green also had six assists and Broome, who got the start after sitting out the last game due to injury, had nine rebounds and three blocks for Auburn (5-0).

No. 21 Texas Tech 70, Louisville 38:

Texas Tech’s defensive identity was on full display against a Louisville team trying to find its way under first-year coach Kenny Payne.

The 21st-ranked Red Raiders held the Cardinals to their lowest point total in 74 years in the Maui Invitation­al, a result that continued Louisville’s worst start to a season since 1940-41.

West Arizona State 80, Grambling 49:

Devan Cambridge scored 16 points, DJ Horne added 15 and host Arizona State cruised to victory. It was the second straight rout by Arizona State (5-1), which trounced then No. 20 Michigan, 87-62, to win the Legends Classic.

Kansas State 96, Nevada 87 (OT):

Markquis Nowell scored 29 points and had 11 assists, Keyontae Johnson scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds and Kansas State (5-0) beat Nevada, outscoring the Wolf Pack 16-7 in overtime. Jarod Lucas scored 20 points for Nevada (5-1).

Oral Roberts vs. Utah State 95, Oral Roberts: The Utah State Aggies defeated the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles 95-85led by Steven Ashworth’s 30 points. The Aggies are now 5-0 on the season, while the Golden Eagles moved to 3-3.

San Francisco 67, Wichita State 63: Josh Kunen scored 15 points as San Francisco beat Wichita State to stay unbeaten at 6-0. The Shockers (3-2) were led by Jaykwon Walton with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Notable

The Final Four is headed to Las Vegas for the first time. The NCAA has awarded the men’s national semifinals and title game to Allegiant Stadium for the 2027-28 season.

The NCAA also announced that Ford Field in Detroit would host the Final Four in 2027, while Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapol­is would get the 2029 event and AT&T Stadium in Dallas would get the 2030 event.

The national championsh­ip this season will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston.
