Pacific Coast Men’s Doubles Championsh­ip

What: Top-seeded Stefan Dostanic and Wojciech Marek of USC headline the tournament player field which features more than 240 top-flight doubles players. Daniel DeJonge and Tim Zeitvogel of Pepperdine University are seeded No. 2 for the second-oldest tennis event in the United States, one which dates back to 1890.

California Lutheran University, Claremont-MuddScripp­s (CMS), College of the Desert, Pepperdine University, Pomona-Pitzer University, San Diego State, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UCLA, UCSD, University of Michigan, University of Nebraska, University of Redlands, USC and Villanova University.

Admission: Free. On-site parking is available for a nominal fee.

Local note: The tournament will honor former champion and North Park resident Ryan Redondo at this year’s event. The two-time All-American at SDSU teamed with Aztec teammate Oliver Maiberger to win the Pacific Coast Men’s

Doubles title in 2003. Redondo, now the CEO and General Manager of Youth Tennis San Diego / Barnes Tennis Center, will present awards to the champion and runner-up teams following Sunday’s final.
