Pirates 13, Diamondbac­ks 3: Ke’Bryan Hayes had three hits and three RBIs, Bryan Reynolds homered for the first time in six weeks and drove in four runs and host Pittsburgh rolled over Arizona ace Zac Gallen. Gallen (6-2) lasted just 32⁄3 innings and allowed a career-high eight runs — five earned — and eight hits as his six-game winning streak ended.

Cubs 10, Phillies 1: Nico Hoerner had two two-run doubles in his return from the injured list and visiting Chicago beat Philadelph­ia to end a five-game losing streak. The Cubs have won seven straight games over the Phillies dating to the 2021 season.

Dodgers 5, Cardinals 0: Tony Gonsolin (2-1) combined with four relievers to hold host St. Louis to only two hits. Mookie Betts hit a three-run home run for Los Angeles in the eighth inning.

Giants 4, Marlins 3: Host San Francisco scored three runs in the sixth following a throwing error by Miami pitcher Sandy Alcantara (1-5).

(IL) Yankees 6, Reds 2: Aaron Judge hit his seventh home run in seven games and visiting New York beat Cincinnati.

(IL) Mets 10, Guardians 9 (10): Pete Alonso tied the game with a grand slam in the seventh inning and Francisco Lindor hit an RBI single in the 10th as host New York rallied from a 5-0 deficit to beat Cleveland.

(IL) Braves 6, Mariners 2: Orlando Arcia’s single off the rightfield wall drove in the go-ahead run in the seventh, Marcell Ozuna had three RBIs and host Atlanta overcame another strong start by Seattle rookie Bryce Miller. Miller led 2-1 before fading and leaving the game in the seventh.

(IL) Tigers 8, Nationals 6: Akil Baddoo hit one of Detroit’s four homers and drove in four runs, Matthew Boyd pitched effectivel­y into the sixth inning and Tigers held on to beat host Washington.
