COUNTY CASINOS TOUT HUGE TVS BROADCASTI­NG NFL GAMES, PLUS PLENTY OF FOOD AND DRINK SPECIALS

With football season now under way, fans may be trying to figure out the best way to watch all of the games — and all of the players on their fantasy teams — each week. If you’re looking to go out to watch the games on massive screens with fellow sports fans while leaving the cooking to someone else, local casinos have several viewing and food options. Some properties also offer gaming promotions, footballth­emed cocktails, and food and snacks to munch during the game. Here’s a look.

Harrah’s Resort Southern California

The Valley Center casino’s Spiked cocktails and craft beer bar features football games on CBS, NBC and Fox stations on 50-inch LED TVs that wrap around the bar. It serves craft, domestic and specialty beers and has monthly cocktail specials. While the bar doesn’t serve food, guests can order bites at the casino’s eateries and bring them in. Pala Casino, Spa & Resort

Luis Rey’s sports bar boasts 23 75-inch TVs, plus its signature 14-foot jumbotron screen, for the games. The food menu prices range from $12 to $15, featuring bites such as bacon cheddar potato skins, shrimp ceviche, chicken wings, nachos and burgers. Pechanga Resort Casino

Kelsey’s sports bar has 22 screens, including two 100-inch LEDs, three 150-inch projector screens and 17 55-inch LED TVs. The bar will also offer specials every Monday, Thursday and Sunday throughout the football season. The food ranges in price from $8 to $24 and includes appetizers like

pork belly poutine fires, loaded tater tots, smoked tri-tip sandwiches, sliders and a surf ’n’ turf pizza. In addition to the craft, domestic and specialty beers, the bar will serve football-themed cocktails like the Cowboys Blue, made with Bacardi Superior light rum, blue curacao, blueberrie­s and soda water; the Ninerita, made with Teremana Blanco, triple sec, sweet and sour, grenadine and lime; the Rams Smash, mixed with Woodford Reserve, soda water, orange, lemon and mint; and the Chargers Rush, made with Buffalo Trace, lemon and honey. Valley View Casino & Hotel

Patties & Pints bar at this Valley Center casino shows football games on its 18-foot LED video wall or over 100 big-screen TVs throughout the property. Guests can order food at Patties and Pints priced at $8-$29, including the firecracke­r shrimp, burgers, pizzas, and larger plates like the rib-eye steak and fries. The casino offers a gameday snacks and drinks promotion with $2 chips and candy, $3 hot dogs, $4 draft beers, $5 wines and $6 margaritas at the Main Stage Bar.
