VEGAN MARKET EXPANDS TO OCEANSIDE

The Vegan Food Popup, a vendor market being presented in Vista and North Park every other week, will make its first Oceanside appearance on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. on Pier View Way between Coast Highway and Ditmar Street. More than 40 vendors will participat­e, serving plant-based food, beverages and desserts, including SeaCo Catch (pictured), which makes vegan fish tacos. Cuervo plans Agave Bar event in Logan Heights:

Tequila maker Cuervo is hosting a free pop-up event on Sept. 22 and 23 where visitors can sample cocktails and food, listen to music and learn about the company’s sustainabi­lity program, which recycles 100 percent of the agave plant materials used to make its spirits. Herb & Sea host Two Ducks chefs dinner:

Herb & Sea restaurant in Encinitas will host a collaborat­ion dinner on Thursday between executive chef Aidan Owens and the two brothers behind the new San Diego pop-up restaurant concept Two Ducks: Danny and Dante Romero. Cori hosts Italian wine dinner: Cori Trattoria and Pastificio in North Park will host a four-course pairings dinner on Wednesday featuring wines from Sicily’s 160-year-old Tasca Conti d’Almerita winery. Pumpkin spice at Spill the Beans:

In honor of Halloween, Spill the Beans coffee and bagel shops in the Gaslamp Quarter and at Seaport Village are offering new fall-themed drinks. The Basic Witch is a makeover of the Basic Sitch vanilla caramel latte, with the addition of pumpkin pie sauce. For fall, the Blondie Mocha is now the Maple Blondie with maple syrup in place of macadamia syrup. And the house cold brew is being topped with pumpkin pie cold foam. Fall flavors at Black Rock Coffee Bars:

Black Rock, with locations in Oceanside, Vista and Escondido, is serving pumpkinspi­ceand kettle-corn-flavored drinks through Oct. 31. The Caramel Blondie has been made over as the Pumpkin Blondie, with the addition of white chocolate pumpkin flavoring.
