Russian Hill home features graceful architectural touches

A statement piece in its own right, the metallic spiral comes from a single, continuous piece of hammered bronze painstakingly crafted by sculptor Brian Martin of Brian Martin Metals.

Steele points to the hardware as well.

“The door handles are castbronze dipped in silver. They are beyond exquisite,” Steele said.

Though artful accents adorn the interior, the spacious dimensions and abundant exposures to natural light ensures a welcoming warmth and approachability shines through.

Framing views of the Presidio, the Palace of Fine Arts, and San Francisco Bay through their cathedral windows, the living and dining rooms embody elegance.

Professional appliances outfit an open kitchen revolving around a marble island with waterfall edges. The adjoining family room includes accordionstyle glass doors that lead to an enclosed garden with dramatic water features, gas fire pit, built-in barbecue, and pizza oven.
