Earthquake­s fall to L.A. on late goal

João Moutinho scored in the seventh minute of stoppage time to give visiting Los Angeles FC a 4-3 win over the Earthquake­s. Moutinho scored on a left-footed shot from the center of the box.

Chris Wondolowsk­i gave the Quakes a 3-2 lead in the 63rd minute on a left-footed goal from outside the box to the bottom-right corner. He also scored in the 52nd minute to tie it 2-2.

Other games: Alexander Callens tied it in the 77th minute and host New York City FC settled for a 1-1 draw with Atlanta United in a matchup of two of the top Eastern Conference teams. Tomas Martinez and Mauro Manotas scored as Houston beat visiting Colorado 2-0 to snap a two-game losing streak . ... Teal Bunbury scored his ninth goal of the season to help visiting New England tie Chicago 1-1. Bastian Schweinste­iger scored for Chicago . ... Nicolas Lodeiro ended a 362minute Seattle scoreless drought in the 57th minute, and Magnus Wolff Eikrem headed in the winner in the 83rd as the Sounders rallied to beat visiting D.C. United 2-1.
