Mary Pappas

Mary Pappas passed away in San Francisco, on June 8, 2018 at the age of 92. Dearly beloved wife and devoted companion for 55 years of the late Angelo Pappas; loving and gentle mother of Foula Vasilogiorgis, Manuel Pappas and Angie Pappas Torre; loving yiayia of Mary and Dino Vasilogiorgis, Alexandra Mary and Peter Angelo Torre, and Zoe Mary Vasilogiorgis; sister of Demetrios and Alexandra Diakakis, the late Nick and Vasilios Diakakis; sister-inlaw of Mary Diakakis and the late Maroukla Diakakis; special aunt of Michelle, Michael and Anthony Diakakis; loving mother-inlaw of George Vasilogiorgis and David Torre. A native of Island Kasos, Greece. A 50-year member of EOS #1 Chapter D.O.P.

Friends may visit on Friday, June 15 after 3:00 p.m. and are invited to attend the Prayer Service (Trisagion) at 7:00 p.m. at DUGGAN’S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Annunciation Cathedral, 245 Valencia Street. Interment at the Greek Orthodox Memorial Park.
