Newly built townhomes in Bayview-Hunters Point
Next weekend marks a significant milestone for Lennar Homes, and they want to share their achievement with the public.
That’s when the builder of hundreds of residences at the San Francisco Shipyard, a mixed-use development found on the grounds of the old naval site in Bayview-Hunters Point, unveils the highly anticipated Palisades collection of luxury townhomes.
“This is going to be San Francisco’s next area for highly sought-after luxury living,” said Garrett Chan, Lennar Homes’ vice president of sales and marketing.
The Palisades collection features elegant, light-filled residences with gourmet kitchens, roof decks and state-of-theart smart home automation.
“These luxury townhomes offer a spacious three-story open floor plan with private entrances, a two-bay garage and breathtaking views of the bay, downtown’s skyline, the Oakland hills and the peninsula,” Chan said.
A wealth of high-end details awaits in every Palisades townhome. Bosch stainless steel appliances and quartz counters adorn the kitchens, while master suites open to private decks through sliding glass doors. These suites feature spa bathrooms with soaking tubs and frameless glass showers with rainfall shower heads.
Technology abounds within the townhomes, and Lennar prides itself on providing residents reliable connectivity on every floor. This is achieved through built-in wireless access points that eliminate dead zones. It’s part of Lennar’s signature “Everything’s Included” program, which utilizes technology like Amazon Alexa, allowing residents to operate the lights, unlock the front door, set the thermostat and control their entertainment systems with voice commands or a smartphone.
“The ‘Everything’s Included’ package is designed to provide a connected lifestyle that’s easy, providing homeowners more control and convenience than ever,” Chan said.
Lennar embraces the “Wi-Fi certified” home design program established by the Wi-Fi Alliances, a global network of companies focused on the adoption and evolution of wireless connectivity. The idea revolves around homes providing premier smart and streaming capabilities as new technologies arrive on the market.
The Palisades community is merely one part of the 750-acre mixed-use project at The San Francisco Shipyard, and its sister community Candlestick, that will offer approximately 12,000 homes and 1.05 million square feet of retail amid more than 5 million square feet of office and research and development space.
In addition to Palisades, Lennar is also selling one- to three-bedroom condominiums at its Monarch and Engel collections, ranging in price from the high $600,000s to $1.4 million. So far, Lennar has closed more than 260 homes and has more than 400 residents living at the San Francisco Shipyard.
Chan expects the area surrounding the Shipyard to blossom in the coming years, especially as entertainment and services pour into the area.
“We’re going to see more gourmet grocery stores, restaurants and boutiques as the southern waterfront continues to develop,” he said. “And there’s already a wealth of delivery services that will bring groceries and restaurant meals right to their front door.”
Prospective buyers may visit Lennar’s Welcome Home Center at 11 Innes Court daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
