SAN FRANCISCO

Madie Augusto (St. Ignatius): Capped a superb career with a record-setting season for the Wildcats by going 17-4 with 194 strikeouts in 1372⁄3 innings and a 1.32 ERA.

The four-year starter, who will attend Dartmouth, hit .471 as the Wildcats (19-6) set a school record for wins. She earned West Catholic Athletic League Co-Pitcher of the Year for the second time.

Augusto finished her career with a 51-33 record, 1.88 ERA and 616 strikeouts. She also batted .374 with 99 hits and 64 RBIs in her career.

PENINSULA-SOUTH BAY

Mailey McLemore (Carlmont-Belmont): The senior pitcher/outfielder went 18-2 with a 1.11 ERA for the Scots (23-2), striking out 123 in 120 innings.

The UC Santa Barbara-bound standout also hit .516 with team bests in home runs (six) and RBIs (34).

In her four years, the Scots were 95-16 as she went 48-6 with a 1.50 ERA and hit .425 with 109 RBIs and 134 hits, 54 of them for extra bases.

NORTH BAY

Madison Papenhause­n (San Marin-Novato): Papenhause­n repeats as the North Bay Regional Player of the Year after leading the Mustangs to a 23-1 record — including a 16-0 mark in the Marin County Athletic League.

The sophomore opened the season by going 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs in addition to striking out 15 in a 9-3 win over Montgomery-Santa Rosa.

She went 16-1 with a 0.51 ERA, 11 shutouts and 179 strikeouts in 1102⁄3 innings. At the plate, Papenhause­n hit .565 with nine doubles, four homers, 27 RBIs and 35 hits.

EAST BAY

Frankie Hammoude (Bishop O’Dowd-Oakland): The senior catcher and infielder, who has signed a letter of intent with Oregon State, had another stellar offensive season as she hit .569 with 33 hits, 27 RBIs and nine home runs.

Hammoude blasted three home runs in the season’s first four games and also went deep in five consecutiv­e games starting March 31.

In 94 career games, she hit .498 with 145 RBIs and 21 doubles, 16 triples and 34 home runs among her 136 hits.
