Eloise Jean Ruggeri

November 29, 1920 - July 23, 2018

-

We lost a lovely, kind and sweet woman on July 23rd. Eloise Ruggeri passed away at the age of 97, surrounded by her family. She will be missed forever. Her gentleness, loving spirit, and acceptance of everyone will always be remembered. She is now reunited with her dear late husband Dino to whom she was married for 69 years. Eloise is survived by her daughter, Gail Sault, and son, Richard Perry, daughter-in-law, Noreen Perry, niece, Dee Rummer and nephew, Daniel Hunt.

Eloise loved her family, friends, and many pets throughout her lifetime. She was a proud native San Franciscan who regaled us with stories of growing up in the City. Her stories allowed us to take a step back in time and visualize the City that she experienced and enjoyed. Eloise loved reading, music, and dancing, but she especially loved bowling with her friends on the St. Emydius Belles league for over 40 years. She was an avid bowler well into her early eighties.

She left this world, as she lived her life, with kindness, dignity, and love. She will be in our hearts forever. “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” – Helen Keller

A small private family service will be held in the near future. If you would like to make a donation in her name, we suggest a charity close to her heart, the San Francisco SPCA, or a charity of your choice.
