Eldon Arthur Wolf was born 12/25/1923 in Portland, Oregon. He joined the Navy and proudly served in WWII in the Philippines at a mountain-top radio relay station. He was married to Helen Marion Westenfield for 25 years with whom he had four children, Andrea, Galen, Deborah, and Dana. He was married to his second wife, Valerie Milmore White, for 25 years. Eldon spent the majority of his life in Albany, CA, but lived for about 10 years in Rough and Ready, CA. He was very active in the community including Boy and Girl Scouts, Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Democratic party, and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley. He served as president of Junior Bach Festival multiple years and dedicated most of his life to helping young people. He loved attending operas and ballets, tinkering, home remodeling, photography, videoediting, travel, and telling entertaining stories about coincidence and travel. He was a gregarious man who charmed strangers and friends alike with his energy, humor, and ability to see the preciousness in people and things. Eldon leaves behind daughter Andrea, son Dana, grand-daughter Stefanie, grand-son Galen II & Geoffrey Wolf and greatgrandson Galen 3 as well as extended family Richard & Sylvia Morgan, Greg, Kim & Colleen White. A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkeley, 1 Lawson Rd, Kensington, CA 94707 on Sunday, 12-Aug2018 (seating starts at 2:00 pm, and the memorial at 2:30 pm).
