Richard Neil Reardon

January 12, 1937 - September 4, 2018

-

Tuesday, September 4, 2018, Burlingame, CA, the heavens finally opened up and peace befell on Rich, “Richie,” Reardon, cherished 35-plus-year companion of Dawn Sue Stefko, brother-in-law in heart of Franklin Earl Stefko, uncle-in-heart of George Ryan Stefko, son of Neil and Ethel Reardon, brother of Jean and Sister Mary Gabriel (Barbara) Reardon, cousin, unforgotten friend of many and master of Billie Jean, the dog. Born January 12, 1937 in San Francisco, CA, the City boy’s playground consisted of the Avenues, the beach, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (graduate 1954), United States Navy (1954-1957), United States Marine Corps (1957-1962), Pacific Telephone Company, trucking and any golf course he could step foot on from age eight, including longtime membership at Crystal Springs Golf Club.

Fore to heaven, for he will be able to play that great game he so loved again, practice on the range to his heart’s delight, putt lights out on the putting green as he so desired, and have the greatest new playground going forward anyone could so choose.

May you have many more deserving holes-in-one, my friend. You are, and will continue to be, so missed... I love you.

Friends are asked to pick up the phone for the sole and only purpose to tell someone you love them. Love to all!

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 18, 2018, 11:00 o’clock a.m., Crystal Springs Golf Course, 6650 Golf Course Drive, Burlingame, CA, at the Ceremonial Site on the hill.
