Spotlight on: Raiders LB Marquel Lee. The second-year middle linebacker, who’s taking snaps from veteran Derrick Johnson, will be tested by a Chargers offense that uses its running backs in both the rushing and passing game. Melvin Gordon is tied for the Chargers’ lead with 24 catches and averages 5.1 yards per carry. His backup, Austin Ekeler, is averaging 6.7 yards per carry and 12.5 yards per catch. Lee will have to be ready when the Chargers try to match up against him.

Injuries: Raiders — S Karl Joseph (hamstring) is out; LG Kelechi Osemele (knee) is questionable. Chargers — WR Travis Benjamin (foot), DE Joey Bosa (foot) and LB Kyzir White (knee) are out; OT Joe Barksdale (illness) is doubtful; OT Russell Okung (groin) is questionable.

THINGS TO WATCH FOR

 Big plays have been the Achilles’ heel of the Raiders’ defense this season, as it has given up 23 plays of 20-plus yards over four games. The offense with the most 20-plus yard plays so far? That would be the Chargers, with 25. That includes 19 by air as quarterback Philip Rivers, at 36, has compiled a 110.8 passer rating with 11 touchdowns and two interceptions.

 Marshawn Lynch had arguably his best game as a Raider last Sunday with 130 rushing yards on 20 carries and three catches for 27 yards. After a slow start, the Raiders’ running game looks to be gaining steam with Lynch running with a ferocity that belies his 32 years. If Lynch is biting off chunks of yardage, will the Raiders keep feeding him the ball?

 For the first time since 2005, the Raiders have had a 100-yard receiver in each of their first four games. Last week it was both Amari Cooper (128 yards) and Jared Cook (110). In Week 3, Jordy Nelson had a big game. Martavis Bryant is still waiting to break out, though the Raiders tried to get him the ball against the Browns. Whose turn will it be Sunday?
