In loving memory of Audrey Yates. A mother of three, a grandmother of three, a great grandmother of two and a great great grandmother of four. She is predeceased by her husband, Douglas Yates, son, Gary Goulart and daughter, Starlene Yates Forbes. She is survived by daughter, Renee’ Yates and all grandchildren. Audrey was born in Auburn, California and lived on the cattle ranch the early years of her life. She then moved to the town of Auburn, where she went to school. She moved to San Francisco, California in her 20’s . She went to beauty school to get her beauticians license. She worked for the Rexall Owl Drug Co. for a number of years. She met her husband, Douglas Yates at the El Patio Ballroom in San Francisco when he was stationed on Treasure Island Naval Base. He was 25 years in the US Navy. Audrey passed away at home. She was 102 years old. She had a good life and had a great love of animals (for which her daughter, Renee’, will always be grateful). She managed the hospital side of Pets Unlimited for a number of years when it was on Sacramento Street in San Francisco. (Just some of her working history). Audrey was laid to rest with a grave site service at Holy Cross Cemetery on June 6th with her daughter, Starlene. Rest in peach mother. Miss you and until we meet again.
