Franklin Donald Petiti

April 16, 1927 - December 5, 2018

Franklin passed away peacefully on December 5, 2018. Frank was born on April 16, 1927 in San Francisco, CA to his parents Frank and Marybell Petiti. Frank leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years Maureen Petiti; his loving children Brian Petiti (Catherine), Morgan Petiti (Marsha) and Nora Petiti; his adoring grandchildren Morgan Petiti (Tawney), Caitlin Fleming (Patrick), Ava Petiti, and Gianna Petiti; and his greatgrandson Clayton Petiti. Frank was a man of service. He served our country as an MP in the Navy. He served his community as a teacher for 35+ years in the San Francisco Unified School District. He served his family as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Frank loved the outdoors. His favorite place to go was Lake Tahoe, where he would sit in the sun, make burgers for everyone, and watch his family enjoy themselves. He also loved to take long walks. Frank met every day with a smile, was quick to joke, and quietly shared advice. He will be greatly missed by all he leaves behind.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, CA and will followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, 2555 17th. Ave., San Francisco, CA. A procession will follow to Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA
