-

After a long battle, our sister, Kerri (Kandie) Jean Johnson took her last breath on Saturday, December 29th, 2018. We are grateful that although always the fighter, Kandie finally allowed her suffering to end. Kerri was born in San Gabriel CA to Kenneth and Matsue Johnson. She is survived by her son, Jacob Johnson; sisters, Julia Johnson, Marcella Johnson and Jennifer Johnson Lynch and nephew/niece Phoenix & Maya Lynch. She also leaves behind step-sisters, Shadiah Shweiky and Sabah Smith; brothers-in-law Patrick Lynch and Richard Broderick, Jake’s father, Brian Finley and her best friend Matthew Condrin. Kandie is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Kathryn Broderick (Johnson) and Kenneth Johnson, Jr. Kerri was a well-known San Francisco food server, employed at favorite hangouts such as the Washington Square Bar & Grill, Moose’s, Boulevard, Foreign Cinema, Town Hall and Perbacco. She may not have remembered your name, but she always remembered what you drank. She was a familiar and vivacious presence in many North Beach establishments and could make a complete stranger feel like family Kandie’s “Happy Hour” will be Wed, Jan 23 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at her favorite hangout, Gino & Carlo in North Beach. Please bring a story of Kandie in writing and/or a picture that we can put in a scrapbook for Jake. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to this Go Fund Me page https://www. gofundme.com/kerri-ampjake-johnson-memorial-fund to help with funeral costs and a savings account for Jake
