Evelyn “Penny” Giacomini

San Francisco Chronicle - Late Edition (Sunday) - - OBITUARIES -

Evelyn (known by many as Penny) Giacomini passed away after a valiant fight against pneumonia on December 29. Faith and family were the cornerstone of Penny’s life. She was happiest when spending time with family and friends.

Penny was an inspiration to those who met her and cared about those she met. She encouraged so many in their aspirations and dreams. She gave so much to so many, to have known her was to have loved her. Though we will miss her terribly, she’ll forever remain close in our hearts and memories.

Penny is survived by her husband of 24 years Donald, her children, son Gary (Martha) Weeck, and daughter Debra Martinez, grandchildren Corinne Weeck, Bryan Weeck, and Zachary Martinez; and great grandchildren Shane Weeck, Benjamin Martinez and Santiago Weeck. She also leaves stepsons Kevin (Cheryl), John (Laurie), Tim (Jenny) and step grandchildren, Katie, Anna, Evan, Sarah, Emma, Quinn and Mitchell.

Penny was rich in family and friends, as she also leaves behind a loving uncle, sisters, brother-in-laws, brothers, sister-in-laws, nieces, and nephews and many friends who will miss her greatly.

A memorial mass will be held on January 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 500 Fairview Avenue, Brentwood 94513. A celebration of her life immediately follows.

Per her wishes, Penny will be cremated; her remains to be spread in a private family ceremony.
