Richard Beals Wil­liamson, died at his home in Oak­land, CA on De­cem­ber 22, 2018 af­ter a two year strug­gle with de­clin­ing health. Rich was born in Eu­gene, Ore­gon but grew up in Cor­val­lis. He at­tended Ore­gon State Univer­sity where he made life­long friends in the Delta Tau Delta fra­ter­nity. He lived in the Port­land area un­til mov­ing to the Bay Area in 1985 with his wife to be, Jane Graf. Jane and Rich were mar­ried in 1987 and lived in Oak­land, CA. Rich had a var­ied ca­reer as a menswear store man­ager, con­struc­tion con­trac­tor and fi­nally re­tir­ing from United Air­lines in 2003. His re­tire­ment years were filled with travel, hik­ing, read­ing, vol­un­teer ac­tiv­i­ties and car­ing for his beloved dogs, Sammy and Jax. He is pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther Stan­ley Wil­liamson and mother, Berdeen Wil­liamson. Rich is sur­vived by his wife, Jane Graf, brother, Brian Wil­liamson, sis­ter, Lucinda Zenor, sons, Casey Wil­liamson and Kelly Wil­liamson, step­son Phillip Pear­son and 5 grand­chil­dren. A cel­e­bra­tion of life will be held at St. Columba Church, 6401 San Pablo Ave., Oak­land on Satur­day, March 9th at 1PM.
