Flyers romp over Ducks

Carter Hart made 30 saves for his eighth straight victory, Sean Couturier had a goal and two assists and the host Philadelph­ia Flyers scored four times in the first period to rout the slumping Anaheim Ducks 6-2 on Saturday.

Michael Raffl, Oskar Lindblom, Phil Varone, Nolan Patrick and Travis Konecny also scored for the Flyers, who have won nine of 10.

Adam Henrique and Nick Ritchie scored for Anaheim, which lost its seventh in a row and 19th in the past 21 while ending a forgettabl­e six-game trip. The Ducks have been outscored 37-8 during their skid.

Ryan Getzlaf had two assists while playing in his 967th contest, which set a record for games with the Ducks. Canucks 4, Flames 3: Elias Pettersson scored the lone goal in the shootout as host Vancouver beat Calgary. The Flames, one point ahead of the Sharks for the Western Conference and Pacific Division leads, have lost three of their past four.

Blue Jackets 4, Golden Knights 3: Cam Atkinson scored two goals less than three minutes apart for Columbus. Vegas has lost three consecutiv­e home games.

Panthers 5, Capitals 4: Mike Hoffman scored on a power play in overtime and Roberto Luongo made 26 saves to help Florida beat host Washington. Derrick Brassard scored his second goal in four games since Florida acquired him Feb. 1. Brett Connolly scored twice for Washington.

Lightning 5, Penguins 4: Tyler Johnson and J.T. Miller had third-period goals and host Tampa Bay beat Pittsburgh to end a two-game skid. Yanni Gourde, Erik Cernak and Anthony Cirelli also scored.

Maple Leafs 4, Canadiens 3: John Tavares scored at 2:17 of overtime to lift visiting Toronto past Montreal. Andreas Johnsson, Nikita Zaitsev and William Nylander also scored to help the Maple Leafs extend their winning streak to four games.

Coyotes 3, Stars 2: Alex Galchenyuk scored twice and assisted on another goal, and Darcy Kuemper stopped 33 shots to help host Arizona end a fivegame losing streak.

Islanders 4, Avalanche 3: Ryan Pulock scored his second goal of the game 2:23 into overtime to lift host New York, which is 8-1-2 in its last 11 games. Colorado has lost six straight.

Blues 3, Predators 2: Vladimir Tarasenko scored his 19th goal, rookie Jordan Binnington made 28 saves and host St. Louis beat Nashville for its fifth straight victory.

Wild 4, Devils 2: Former Devils star Zach Parise scored the go-ahead goal and Minnesota won at New Jersey to snap a four-game losing streak.

Bruins 5, Kings 4: Patrice Bergeron scored a power-play goal at 2:34 of overtime to lift host Boston past Los Angeles.

Senators 5, Jets 2: Mark Stone scored twice to help host Ottawa beat Winnipeg, which has lost three straight for the first time this season.

Sabres 3, Red Wings 1: Casey Mittelstad­t and Kyle Okposo scored powerplay goals and Linus Ullmark stopped 28 shots for host Buffalo.
