John J. Roach Jr.

March 14, 1938 - January 18, 2019

At the age of 80, John J. Roach Jr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and family at Walnut Creek Kaiser. John was born in San Francisco but was a long time resident of Concord. John was a member of Teamsters Local 85 for 50 years and retired as a Business agent.

John is the beloved husband of Sharon Roach for 60 years, loving father to Debbie (Mark) Thompson and Mike (Kim) Roach and the late Ricky Roach, loving grandfather Trena, Nicole, John, Kurtis, Kyle and Halee, and greatgrandfather of 12. Beloved brother of Rob, Jim, Peggy Roach, and the late Bill, Terry Roach, Dave Puddy, brother-in-law to Linda Roach, Ann Addiego, Tom (Jackie) Newton, the late Gail (Jim) Roach, Jerry and Fred Newton, and son-inlaw of the late Fred and Ann Newton. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Pops will be deeply missed by his loving family.
