Gina El Sineitti

-

Gina El Sineitti, age 58, formerly of San Francisco, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019. She graduated with the class of 1979 from Lincoln High School and started out as a co-manager of her family’s business. After working with her family’s service station in San Francisco for over 30 years, she went on to manage and operate her own service station for 12 years. As a passionate and driven businesswoman in a male dominated industry, she overcame many barriers and obstacles and superseded all expectations. She went on to become very successful in her field and was able to branch out into other ventures. She was a driving force behind many new ideas and left her mark on the cross streets of Ocean and Miramar in San Francisco. Towards the end of her career she struggled with the fight for her life and became a cancer survivor. With her bigger-than-life personality, Gina touched many with her outgoing nature and entertaining character and knew how to make others feel comfortable and laugh. Even in the final minutes of her life, she was joking with all those around her.

She is survived by her beloved brother, Joseph El Sineitti, two nieces Victoria and Nicole El Sineitti, two of many cousins Noha and Fred Tannous, dear friends Zaki Elkodsi and Terry Anderlini, and her two cherished dogs Puffy and Macho. May she rest in peace with her parents Onsy and Suzette El Sineitti.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, February 19th at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 5200 Diamond Heights Blvd., in San Francisco with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Borzghol and Rev. Fr. George Baalbaki officiating. Burial will take place at Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Colma. The family will receive friends at 7:00pm Monday, February 18th at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church in San Francisco.
