-

Robert Sean White passed away at the age of 55 on January 14, 2019. Sean was the youngest of 7 children born to the late Robert J. and the late Jeanne Sullivan White. A 4th generation San Franciscan, Sean was born on June 8, 1963 and was a longtime resident of Daly City, where he attended Our Lady of Mercy Grammar School and later Riordan High School in San Francisco, where he was on the varsity football team and a graduate of the class of 1981. Sean enjoyed working for many years at Beronio Lumber in San Francisco.

Sean is survived by his 3 sons: Riley, Logan and Sean, whom he treasured and adored. They were his greatest accomplishment in life. Sean’s siblings are Larry (late Cheryl), Kevin (dec), Brian (Terri), Maureen (dec), Terry (dec) (Sue) and Lori White Rolovich. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, including cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Former husband of Joanne Hayes-White.

Sean was always friendly, popular, funny, outgoing and very generous with his time. Sean loved sports of all kinds and so enjoyed coaching his boys when they were young. He formerly had volunteered many, many hours at the Helpers Home on Fulton St. helping those less fortunate than he. Years ago you might also have seen Sean with his boys on the side of the road, changing a flat tire for a stranger. He wanted his boys to know the value in lending a helping hand to others in need. And Sean was always extremely kind to the elderly.

Sean was afflicted with CADASIL, a rare, hereditary and degenerative brain disorder. This condition affected the lives of his brother, his father and his grandfather. Sean is now finally at rest, no longer suffering from any illnesses or pain. A special thanks to Sean’s conservator, Scott Garl, for the kindness and understanding he showed to Sean.
