The big names

Amy Poehler, John Mulaney and Patton Oswalt, the three biggest names on the bill, aren’t quite the household names of previous years. (Kevin Hart and Jerry Seinfeld performed in 2017; Amy Schumer and Jon Stewart in 2018.) But the comics are an extremely reliable trio. Be prepared to arrive early for these sets; they’re performing in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (Mulaney and Oswalt perform two sets, Poehler one). In previous years, headliners performed on the outdoor Colossal Stage, which has seats but also projects jokes as far as the steps of City Hall.
