The ‘What the Clusterfest?’
DUNDER MIFFLIN SCRANTON BRANCH
Clusterfest has delivered on its photo-friendly “experiences” in the past two years, including the replicated Paddy’s Pub from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” and last year’s Donald J. Trump Memorial Twitter Library. A re-creation of the paper company from “The Office” should be the most Intagrammable.
TEDDY PERKINS MEMORIAL MUSEUM
As much as for any visiting comedian, our excitement piqued when we heard about this “Atlanta” museum based on the most unforgettable (and arguably best) half-hour of television in 2018. “Teddy Perkins” was a Southern Gothic horror movie masterpiece, about a strange former musical artist with some buried family secrets.
SINBAD
With the exception of a couple of headliners, Clusterfest has mostly ignored comedians who peaked in the 1980s and 1990s. But they make the exception with … Sinbad? The comedian/actor/host has been used as a punch line over the years, but he’s a solid stand-up (winner of the 1985 San Francisco International Comedy Competition) and multi-instrumentalist who continues to draw crowds on the road. 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, June 21. Polk Comedy Club.
