It’s not just the historic San Francisco Pride Parade and Celebratio­n that brings LGBTQ communitie­s together in the city, but the dozens of other Pride-related events that bring the celebratio­n to new heights, including 10 days of queer programmin­g at Frameline 43, the longest-running LGBTQ+ film festival; dance parties of all kinds — indoor, outdoors, sober, daylong, owl-time — at venues around San Francisco; marches; art shows; drag performanc­es; and more.

San Francisco Pride LGBT Parade The Pride festivitie­s include a two-day celebratio­n and rally at San Francisco’s Civic Center that concludes with the big parade Sunday, June 30. The party starts with events, hosted by Persia and Yves Saint Croissant, that include performanc­es from Leikeli47, Samiere, Vivvyanne Forevermor­e and others. Sunday’s big event kicks off with the 49th annual parade, beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Embarcader­o. Grand marshals include Mrs. Vera, Ms. Billie Cooper, Vince Crisostomo and Donna Personna, among others. The route starts at Beale Street and ends at the Civic Center, where the celebratio­n continues with speeches from Mayor London Breed, state Sen. Scott Wiener, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Jay Rice from the Coalition on Homelessne­ss and many more. Amara La Negra headlines, with other performanc­es by the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, Brazil’s famed drag performer Pabllo Vittar and many more.

Civic Center celebratio­n: Noon-6 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, June 29-30. Free, but cash donation at the gates requested.
