Cost/protocol: Access is free; the Lands Pass program has been suspended. All vehicles must stop and register at entrance station.

Open/closed: Vehicle tours, hiking, fishing, open to public through July, then closed to public for wildlife viewing to Feb. 1.

Dogs: They are allowed in July, free; no dogs permitted through June to protect nesting waterfowl.
