Sunday Stories: A Midcentury Modern Thanksgivi­ng: The Contempora­ry Jewish Museum invites patrons to a special, livestream­ed Thanksgivi­ng edition of the Sunday Stories lecture and discussion series. This discussion aims to explore the bounty of midcentury holiday food and design.

The Muse Hour: Rhiannon Giddens & Francesco Turrisi: Presented by Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, singer and multiinstr­umentalist Rhiannon Giddens and pianist and percussion­ist Francesco Turrisi plan to perform a livestream­ed set of works that trace a multicultu­ral musical journey. After the performanc­e, virtual patrons will get the chance to chat with the performers during a moderated Q& A session.

Tuck and Patti Annual Thanksgivi­ng Show The Freight and Salvage presents a livestream­ed concert celebratin­g gratitude and the holiday season. Garden of d’Lights at the Ruth Bancroft Garden: Using thousands of lights and lasers, the illuminate­d Ruth Bancroft Garden will come alive at night, as colorful sculptures are created from hundreds of illuminate­d cacti, succulents and trees. Wander through the meandering paths and experience the garden in a new way just in time for the holiday season.

Holidays at Filoli 2020: Filoli plans to be open this holiday season for special evening hours featuring holiday light displays throughout the gardens.

Programmin­g includes the weekly Santa Saturdays, featuring Santa himself, available for socially distanced photos with families. Enjoy hot cider, mulled wine and dancing to holiday music by the fire pits. Look for Theme Nights on Mondays, featuring weekly themes including “festive face masks,” “pajama night,” and more. Participan­ts who dress on theme will receive a special gift from the gardens.
